Gansons Vibratory Sifter

The Gansons vibratory sifter is used for separating particles and security screening of powders.

The mechanical parts comprise of motor, springs, TC clamps and sieve that help for efficient screening. The machine creates vibrations and works on gyratory motions, making it easier for materials to move, improve flow, and segregate. The motor’s vibrations power the shifting operations, which retain larger articles and deliver products similar to mesh size. It can also work in vacuum conditions, making it suitable for industries like food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and others, where precise separation is important for quality and efficiency.

Gansons Mechanical Sifter

This machine contains silicon rubber bushes that induce vibration to the sifter and operate on the principle of vibration or gyratory motion. The motor’s vibrations power the shifting operations, which retain larger particles and deliver products similar to mesh size. It can also work in vacuum conditions, making it suitable for industries like food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and others, where precise separation is important for quality and efficiency.

CENTRIFUGAL SIFTER - KWIK SIFT

The Hanningfield Kwik-Sift® is a centrifugal sifter designed for efficient powder sifting while maintaining material integrity. Its sifting mechanism can effectively screen the thinnest to the smallest of foreign matter like hair, metal splinters, plastic, and wooden splinters. The rotating mesh drum generates a centrifugal screening action, allowing the powder to pass through the mesh while retaining larger objects. Various drum mesh sizes are available for different applications, ensuring a streamlined and effective screening process.

Additionally, the spoiler arm of this sifter performs a gentle de-lumping of cohesive powders.

Design and Operation

The Hanningfield Kwik-Sift® is the sifter machine for powder sifting that offers fast and effective powder screening, helping guarantee material integrity through the capture of alien objects (such as nuts, bolts, washers, cable ties). The rotating mesh drum creates a centrifugal screening action with powder passing through the mesh while retaining those objects larger than the hole aperture. For achieving different grades of separation, various drum mesh sizes are available to meet various application requirements. The unit can incorporate a single or dual spoiler arm arrangement for performing simple de-lumping of agglomerated material. The spoiler arm simply clamps onto the existing chute via a tri-clover.

Construction

As standard, all contact parts are manufactured from 316L stainless steel (180 grit), with FDA compliant seals, gaskets etc. Non-contact parts such as frames, motor covers and control panels are manufactured from 304 stainless steel (150 grit).
